Unfortunately this isn't a travel blog post, this is the story of my suicide disease. I'm going to start at the second to last day of our holiday, when I realised that my teeth were starting to hurt a bit.
I was officially diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia by a neurologist, but I already knew I had TN the day after I experienced my worst symptoms. My first point of call was my dentist, as my pain seemed to be coming from my mouth, and within an hour of me seeing him, he said he was very sure I had neuralgia and to make a GP appointment ASAP. When I told my GP what my dentist had said, she sent a referral through for a neurology appointment. Sometimes your dentist really does know best.
I get the worst 'brain fog' in the world. Sometimes, my mind just won't co-operate with the rest of me! I get it both from the medication and from simply being in pain. I could possibly call it 'pain fog'!
For some people, social media is a place to impress and where we can take a look at their fantastic lives. My social media is the place where you can see me at my worst, where I'm complaining about being in pain, whinging about medication, feeling absolutely rotten and letting the world know.
I have a cold and it feels like the end of the world!
